The journey of setting up a community radio station in Chanderi began with the success of a community multimedia centre which was established with support from UNESCO and OneWorld South Asia. The centre was set up for providing computer and multimedia training to children from the community of weavers. Thematic Focus: Health and nutrition, rights of women, conservation of local talent and folk arts, legal awareness, employment, rights and entitlements.
