Neotech CR was set up to empower impoverished people with information to improve the quality of their life. The station gave a lease of life to their folk music, which otherwise was on the verge of extinction. Thematic Focus: Neotech CR focuses on motivating the community and creating awareness on social issues like the adverse effect of alcoholism, untouchability and superstitions. The station also enables people to synthesize their culture, language, songs and dance with their day to day life. Besides, there is focus on creating awareness on rights and fundamental duties. Since a majority of population depends on agriculture, it airs programmes on agricultural practices and techniques, seeds and fertilizers.
