Radio Sarang was founded by Fr Richard Rego, SJ in 2009 with a dream of providing an avenue for local talent as well as students of St Aloysius College, Mangaluru, to give impetus to local culture and languages. Starting with just two hours of programming, it beams now 24 hours of programmes daily, including 16 hours of unique programmes. Thematic Focus: Radio Sarang has become an avenue for talented people, who are marginalized due to lack of exposure. This CR station is promoting different local cultures, thereby helping the society.
